I did not grow up thinking I would become an author one day. Like a lot of people, I loved reading long before I ever thought about writing. Books were my escape, my comfort, and my company on quiet afternoons. I never imagined I would be the one creating them.
The idea to actually write my own book did not arrive all at once. It grew slowly, from years of imagining what could happen next in a story, or thinking about how I would have written a scene differently. Eventually, those thoughts turned into notes, and those notes turned into chapters.
What really pushed me to start was realizing that I did not need permission to try. I did not need a big publisher or a perfect plan. I just needed to sit down and write the first page, even if it was not very good, because that page could always be improved later.
Becoming an author has taught me that inspiration is not something you wait for. It is something you build, one small step at a time, until the story you imagined becomes something real that others can read.
If you have ever thought about writing something of your own, I hope my journey reminds you that it is possible to start exactly where you are.
